Aazhi launched an ambitious My Town book series in Tamil; 9 books released so far

Aazhi's Tamil division has started an ambitious project of bringing up of 200 plus titles, each one for a town in Tamil Nadu. During Noolaaru 2011, Vellore Book Fair held in Vellore on Sep 10 -18, 2011, Aazhi has released the following titles:

• Vellore
• Thiruppattur
• Arcot
• Arani
• Gudiyattam
• Ambur
• Yelagiri &Jolarpet

and couple of more titles are to be released early November 2012.

Each title covers the history of the town along with other social and cultural details. From ancient to modern, every town in Tamil Nadu has developed over the centuries its own special and unique identity. By assigning the project to the local authors, Aazhi has initiated one of the largest publishing projects in the history of Tamil Publishing.
